If you’re the type of person who thrives on seeing acrobats defying gravity, dragons breathing fire and loves the beautiful side of Chinese tradition, then on Wednesday 8th May there is nowhere else you should rather be than The Kings Theatre.
The Chinese state circus will proudly present their UK premiere of their new show “Yin Yang”.
Aside from the fact that audiences will witness breathtaking sketches such as the “bicycle act” in which ten talented artists will compile themselves onto one single bike, they are also invited into a world of exhilarating hoop divers, unbelievably agile contortionists and an action-packed programme that will keep even the bravest of audience members on the very edge of their seats!
The title of the show “Yin Yang” means the interaction of two energies in a dynamic system of balance.
It’s safe to say that from the variety of things going on during that delightful Wednesday night that it won’t just be the members of the circus that will be feeling energised.
From the amount of danger and high-risk activities involved in this show, one can only imagine the amount of adrenaline that will be cascading through those theatre doors once the show has ended.
For a circus that has travelled all over the United Kingdom, it is definitely an honour for them to have landed in Southsea’s very own Kings Theatre.
Who knows what the night will bring but if the standard of captivating acts is anything to go by, then it is sure to be one roller-coaster of an experience. This will be a night that you won’t want to miss out on!
