News is in that the Delaware State Fair, Harrington, after 10 years, at least, of having a free gate
on Thursday, Preview Night, has decided to charge 3.00 for gate admission. Regular nights it's 6.00 so they are advertising 50% off Preview Night.
Well I can't figure this out because of all years to do this they pick a year when gas is up around 4.00 a gallon and the economy in general stinks. They make it sound as if they are giving the public a break! Heck they're not giving anybody a break because it's always been a free night for at least the last 10 years!

The nominations are out, and it's a strange mix for *Water for the

Hard to know what to think. Not a single nomination for the score or any ...

It is riduleous that they charge at all. You figure a family of 4 will pay $24.00 just to get in the gate at $6.00 a ticket. Add on the rides, food etc and you have a hundred or more put out. We would stay about 5 or 6 hours and leave. The real screw is when you buy show tickets for a performer and have to pay the gate fee to see them after buying the ticket.
