Memories of Sally Rand
Published on Aug 26, 2012
Sally Rand was the sensation of the Chicago World's Fair 1933-34 and her story of becoming that was just as incredible of how she crashed the opening party wearing nearly nothing on horseback to get noticed. I live in Chicago and am involved in much of it's history both in song and story and her name comes up constantly. This song surfaced just a few years before and would have been known by most attending.
