The Detroit Moslem Temple Shriners are making it possible for elementary students to see acrobats and animals next month for free at the Detroit Shrine Circus.
The 107th annual event will be at Hazel Park Raceway from March 21-24 and 28-31. The Shriners are providing nearly 10,000 complimentary tickets for morning and afternoon shows on Thursdays and Fridays.
Schools interested in applying for the free tickets should visit www.DetroitShrineCircus.com and complete the application before Friday. Transportation must be provided by the schools.
Tickets are available for purchase ($8-$50 each) at the Shrine Circus box office at Hazel Park Raceway, 1650 E. 10 Mile, Hazel Park. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
