jACKSONVILLE, NC--The 129th edition of Cole Bros. Circus of the Stars will feature the timeless high flying, humorous, and mystifying acts and attractions that families have enjoyed for generations.
With two hours of entertainment and 14 new and classic acts, Cole Bros. Circus will bring the excitement to two area locations from April 4-10.
The circus will arrive in Jacksonville at 2500 N. Marine Parkway on April 4-7 and Havelock City Park, located at Highway 70 East on April 8-10. Performances will take place at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1:30, 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday in Jacksonville. Havelock times are 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. daily.
Bill Dundee, event coordinator for Cole Bros. Circus, said that the big top will stretch 380 by 400 feet, which is about the same size as a football field. Underneath the crimson and gold canopy is a world of wonder led by Ringmaster Chris Connors.
