ReplyDeleteDORIS EARL, The Grand Lady of Roberts Bros. Circus..After Bob, husband passed on she was the heart and soul of Roberts Bros. These pictures of Doris bring back so many memories...I can still hear that little laugh she had..I learned so much about how to eal with the public and just about life in general from Doris....
ReplyDeleteFrank Felt,Friend and Agent told so many great stories of his days with Roberts Bros. Circus during Emmett Kelly Banquet Speach two weeks ago in Hagerstown, MD..Thanks to Bob Connor former Roberts Agent I was able to decorate the entire Banquet Room with Roberts Bros. posters, tickets and misc. items from the days of Roberts Bros.....thank you Earl Family...
Thank you so much for your kind words about my grandma! we all miss her and the circus life. It will always be in my heart and i wish we were still on the road now.
