Indianapolis — The Murat Shrine Circus opened at the Pepsi Coliseum Thursday. A group of Central Indiana students got to enjoy a free performance as part of the opening ceremonies.
Shows run Thursday through Sunday with tickets ranging between $10-20.
"Animals, clowns, aerial acts, the only double wide flying trapeze, you saw elephants, we have mixed animals, we have something for everyone here,” Ringmaster Peter Sturgis said.
Part of the money raised goes to help fund Shriners Hospitals around the country.
