Spring carnival comes to Wilmington
Mar 02, 2011 WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) - The annual spring carnival is setting up shop in the Independence Mall parking lot.Powers Great American Midways has come to Wilmington for the past 10 years. The company is family owned and operated out of Burgaw.
For $15 during the weekdays ($20 weekends) families can play all day on 15 rides. New this year: Monster Truck, Chopper Hopper, Ships Ahoy and Flying Bobs.The carnival opens Thursday at 5:00 p.m. and is open 5:00-10:00 p.m. on the weekdays, 12:00-11:00 p.m. on the weekends.
The carnival will travel up the coast to New York before returning to Wilmington in November.
