On Jan. 18, the Ben Hur Austin Shrine Circus will host the Elephant Brunch, a free event on the front lawn of the Cedar Park Center. The brunch starts at noon.
Guests can watch trainers feed the elephants and meet the clowns.
The Elephant Brunch kicks off a weekend-long event, and ticket prices range from $20–$35. Circus-goers are also encouraged to show up an hour before showtime for the preparty, where they will have another chance to meet performers as well as ride the elephants.
The elephants perform a dance routine during each performance of the circus in Cedar Park from Jan. 18–21. The Broadway-themed show will also feature a clown, acrobats and a motocross duo.
The show benefits the Ben Hur Shrine Temple, a local chapter of the Shriners International, a fraternity that began in 1872. The Ben Hur Shriners partake in philanthropy by supporting the Shriners Hospital for Children.
