Come one, come all—the circus is back in town. The legendary Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will be at the Leon County Civic Center from Thursday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, Jan. 20.
The circus’ Fully Charged, Gold Edition brings forth electrifying entertainment that will dazzle and amaze audiences of all ages. Enormous elephants, clever clowns and aerodynamic acrobatics are just a few noteworthy acts that are to be showcased during the spectacular.
“What an exciting opportunity to see such talent,” FSU junior Avalon Cudia said. “I always love watching FSU’s Flying High Circus, so when a professional one comes to town, I would be crazy not to go.”
Students can transform an ordinary weekend into a celebration by attending the national tradition.
“This sounds like a pretty fun event to go to over the weekend,” FSU senior Nick Kraft said. “I really didn’t have plans this weekend, so this is great timing.”
The collaboration of extravagant costumes, remarkable tricks and exotic animals make the circus a sight to see.
“I think it’s awesome that they’re coming to Tallahassee because I’ve always wanted to see the Ringling Bros. circus,” FSU senior Nina Shepard said. “I really want to see how it compares to how the circus is portrayed in the movies.”
