The annual uptown circus parade is planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday, according to officials with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
However, circus officials add that plans for the Grand Animal Walk are tentative. A delay in train schedules last year caused the parade to take place several hours later than expected.
The circus will be at Time Warner Cable Arena from Wednesday through Sunday, and the train carrying the animals is scheduled to stop at West Third and Graham streets.
Circus officials say animals will be unloaded from the train at that point. The parade route will follow Graham Street, then right on Trade Street, past the arena and left on North Caldwell Street.
