TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The circus is coming to town - not only that, it's making a big donation to benefit area children.
The Arab Shrine of Topeka donated 5000 tickets worth 50-thousand dollars to the United Way of Greater Topeka.
The annual Arab Shrine Circus takes place February, 22 - 24, and will feature a trapeze act, elephants, prancing ponies and more.
The United Way of Greater Topeka partners with organizations from across the community, who have contact with children on a daily basis, to offer the tickets to children and families who normally would not be able to afford them. Non-profit organizations that want to help distribute the tickets to kids can contact the United Way at 273-4804.
