Region - Circus Smirkus, the award-winning, nonprofit traveling youth circus, will be performing its new show, “Oz Incorporated,” at Wachusett Mountain in mid-July as a benefit for the Worcester Jewish Community Center (JCC).
This summer, Circus Smirkus, based in Greensboro, Vt. is celebrating its 26-year tradition of bringing joy and magic to towns all over the Northeast. The troupe is composed of 29 performers ages 11 to 18 who hail from California, Florida, Kentucky, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont and Washington – as well as the United Kingdom, Mexico and Cuba. The show is billed as a new take on the classic, “The Wizard of Oz” and will showcase traditional circus acts such as acrobatics, high wire, and comedy.

Show times are Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 14, 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The Worcester JCC, located at 633 Salisbury St., has members from all over central Mass. The center offers opportunities to work out, take classes, see films, and join groups.
