Belarus to partake in 1st World Festival of Circus Arts

MINSK, 3 June (BelTA) – Boris Lazarov’s Belarusian horsemen will take part in the 1st World Festival of Circus Arts Idol that is due to take place in Moscow on 11-20 October, Belarus Circus Art Director, Belarus’ People’s Artist Tatiana Bondarchuk told BelTA on 31 May.
Boris Lazarov is more than 50 years in the circus business. His horse shows are well-known both inside the country and beyond its boundaries. His dashing riders are silver medalists of the international festival in Italy and the 3rd International Festival of Circus Arts in Izhevsk (Russia), holders of the Golden Goddess Award in Japan.
“We are going to prepare a show in a folk style for the festival in Moscow,” Tatiana Bondarchuk said.
In her words, the 1st World Festival of Circus Arts Idol promises to be a great forum, which is to be held in the Moscow State Circus. The Russian capital will turn into a colorful and entertaining scene for 10 days. Moscow will welcome circus stars from across the globe. The shows will be assessed by a professional jury, the audience and reporters. The jury will include Chief Stage Manager of the Belarusian circus Serzh Bondarchuk and Belarus Circus Art Director Tatiana Bondarchuk.
