Bello is back
GULFPORT,MS--Bello the comedic daredevil and circus star is back at the Biloxi Beau Rivage Theatre with his show FUNAMBULA (pronounced Fun-Numb-Boo-La) Tuesday through Aug. 11.
FUNAMBULA is derived from the Latin term fünambulus, meaning rope dancer. Performances by a cast of aerialists, acrobats and tightrope walkers promise to compel audiences to wonder if they are from another world. FUNAMBULA includes never-before-seen acts and will be performed for the first time on stage anywhere in the Beau Rivage Theatre.
Among the performers are two contortionists who twist their bodies and maneuver in a tiny glass cube, a troupe of talented trampoline jumpers, trapeze artists, and a rhythmic gymnast champion who has won competitions in the Ukraine and across the world.
Performances are 7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday; 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; no performances on Monday.
Tickets are $12.95, $16.95 and $24.95 plus tax and service fees. A family pack of four tickets is $40. Tickets are available at the Beau Rivage ticket office, by phone at 888-566-7469 or online at www.beaurivage.com.
