Shriners Parade marches through Belleville before storm hits
circus rescheduled due to rain

 

The start of the annual Shriners Circus Parade in Belleville. The 47th Annual Ainad Shrine Circus will have four performances in Belleville at the Belle-Clair Fairgrounds. Shows are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Belleville,IL--The annual Shriners Circus Parade in Belleville began marching through downtown Belleville Friday night before storms hit the area.
About 45 minutes into the parade, the event was called off due to bad weather and police asked guests to go home.
Due to rain, the 47th Annual Ainad Shrine Circus rescheduled this weekend's four performances in Belleville at the Belle-Clair Fairgrounds. The circus will come back to town July 16-17. Times have not been set. For more information, visit www.SoILshrinercircus.com.
