Colorado Springs---The circus is coming to town this week, with a few changes that our viewers have been asking about.
We've learned that this year there will be no animal walk as part of the circus activities. According to a spokesperson for the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Built To Amaze! show, coming to the Springs on Thursday, this year's animal walk will not take place.
Instead, circusgoers are invited to participate in the All Access Pre-show. All ticket holders are invited to join the fun and meet the Built to Amaze! international cast of performers as they prepare for the show. Additionally, ticket holders can gaze at the animals involved in the circus by taking a trip by the Animal Open House before each show.
Other activities include a dance party, the opportunity to try on custom designed costumes, learn circus skills and witness and win a one of a kind masterpiece created by Asia, Ringling Bros. own painting pachyderm.
Performers include Andre McClain, Ringmaster and cowboy; award-winning comedic animal duo Alex and Irina Emelin of Russia; the Tower Tumblers and the King Charles Troupe of unicyclists from New York City.
The shows will be held June 6-9 at the World Arena.
